Close Protection
Our close protection course is structured over 14 Days (150 Hours) which includes practical assessments and an multiple choice examination. The course is mentally and physically challenging but enjoyable. You will have to demonstrate individual and team qualities in order to become a professional Bodyguard. Successful students will be awarded a Highfields level 3 qualification in close protection which enables them to apply for an SIA licence to work within the close protection arena in the U.K
Close Protection – Refresher
A 24 Hour refresher for those needing to re-qualify. These can also be provided independently.
Door Supervisor Up Skilling
This qualification comprises of: Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry; assessed by a practical test and a written True or False test.
Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors; assessed by a 10-question multiple.
Security Guard
Under the Private Security Industry Authority Act 2001, all individuals wishing to work in the private security industry must undertake a recognised qualification before applying for a licence.
The Level 2 Award in Security Guarding has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the learner with the necessary knowledge and understanding for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a security guard within the private security industry.
Physical Intervention
Unit 1 – This covers the knowledge and skills that the learner will need to be able to train those wishing to work in the private security industry. This unit is assessed by a practical assessment throughout the course by the tutor and a true or false questionnaire.
Unit 2 – This will provide the learner with the skills to teach and assess the practical skills safely.
Conflict Management
The qualification is suitable for delivery across a wide range of sectors and is of particular benefit to those delivering training to personnel in customer-facing roles.
The qualification also meets the requirements of the Security Industry Authority for those delivering the licence to practice qualifications which include scenario-based conflict management training.
