Delivered by experienced instructors from security, emergency services and law enforcement backgrounds, our engaging, scenario-based training ensures you remain confident, compliant and prepared for today's frontline security industry. ##**What You'll Learn** Complete the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, covering the role of a first aider, incident assessment, CPR and AED use, the recovery position, choking, severe bleeding, shock, seizures and minor injuries. You'll then refresh your Door Supervisor knowledge, including current legislation, professional responsibilities, conflict management, communication skills, search procedures, safeguarding vulnerable people, counter-terror awareness, emergency response, drink and needle spiking prevention, and the safe, lawful and proportionate use of physical intervention. ##**Course Delivery•• This package is delivered through blended learning. Before attending, you'll complete the Emergency First Aid at Work e-learning before joining us for 1 day of practical first aid training and assessment. You'll also complete the mandatory Door Supervisor online learning, including ACT Awareness & Security, Working in the Private Security Industry, and Physical Intervention modules. All online learning and evidence of completion must be submitted before attending the classroom training. You'll then attend 2 days of DS Refresher training, completing the practical activities and assessments required for licence renewal. ##**Entry Requirements**You must be 18 or over, hold (or have previously held) an SIA Door Supervisor Licence, meet the SIA English language requirement of Level 1 (B2 CEFR equivalent), and provide valid photographic ID and proof of address. ##**Assessment & Certification**-Assessment includes practical first aid observations, multiple-choice examinations, and practical assessments covering search procedures, communication equipment and physical intervention. On successful completion, you'll achieve the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification and meet the training requirements to renew your SIA DS Licence.
